The Rhine is one of the Netherlands biggest rivers. The mouth of this river is on the boarder between North France and West Germany. It mainly flows through Germany but it enters the Netherlands and joins with the Meuse and the Scheldt. thees 3 river form the Rhine-Meuse-scaled delta. it is one of the largest river deltas in western Europe. the Rhine crosses the border between Germany and Holland at Spijk. this is when the rhine is at the widest part, it then splits into 3 distributairies, the Waal, the Nederrijn and the IJssel. they enter the sea in Rotterdam, the largest port in Europe.

The Netherlands is a county located west of Germany and north of Belgium. The Netherlands is most commonly known as Holland, however this it the name of the region to the west of the country. Even tho it is not the correct name it is generally excepted. Within the Netherlands there are two provinces, north and south. There are three main cities. Rotterdam, Amsterdam (capital) and the Hague.
